Co. Waterford Beekeepers’ Association application for membership

The annual subscription for MEMBERSHIP of Co. Waterford Beekeepers’ Association is €15 and includes affiliation to The Irish Beekeepers Association CLG.

Your membership ensures that you have insurance cover from IBA CLG and can attend all IBA CLG events, including Co. WBKA events. Your membership is only valid when approved by the local association and at national level by the IBA CLG.

Associate Membership is open to those who are members of another IBA CLG association and wish to attend / participate with the Co. WBKA.

Use of your personal data:

By completing this form and paying your membership fee, you are agreeing to join Co. WBKA which is affiliated to Irish Beekeepers' Association CLG, Cumann Beachairí na hÉireann.

Your personal details as outlined above will be forwarded to IBA Secretary only for the purposes of recording membership of this affiliated association and verifying to the insurance provider your entitlement to cover in the event of a claim against you.

Co. WBKA will be using your personal details for the recording of membership and communication purposes in relation to association events, classes and other such relevant items.

Apart from the above stated purposes, your personal details will not be used or shared with any other party, except in the circumstances where Co. WBKA or IBA is compelled to do so, under any new laws enacted by the state, when we will seek your specific permission.

Storage of your personal data:

Every security measure made possible to Co. WBKA will be undertaken to store your data in a secure manner. The personal details of any member will be stored on the association laptop that the association secretary keeps. The association laptop is encrypted with the recommended vendor standards with only nominated committee members having knowledge of the encryption key.
